By no means would I tell you what to make of the political situation. It’s about as confused as it could get. For example, the GOP is currently divided primarily between the old neocons, pretending for the time being they are pro-Israel (their candidate is Nikki Haley). They use wars to gain control and wealth. Then there’s the America First branch (to which Vivek Ramaswamy belongs); they don’t want to be involved in foreign wars in places like Ukraine or Gaza. And they’d rather bring all our industry back home. Insofar as Trump has an affiliation, it’s mostly the latter. However, when he was in office, the neocons ran things behind his back. I’m not sure that would change if he were elected again. As things stand right now, he could win again.
